Portos Wireless Flush-Mounted Controller Exalus EX-BIDI

The EX-BIDI roller shutter controller is designed to operate window shutters powered by 230 VAC single-phase motors. The controller can be operated either wirelessly with transmitters from the EXALUS HOME control system and the TR7 control unit, or via wired roller shutter control switches. The IN1 and IN2 inputs are used for wired control. Both inputs can function in either local or central control mode. In both cases, single or double roller shutter control switches can be used. Thanks to the bidirectional communication between the EX-BIDI and the TR7 control unit, the current status of the roller shutter is displayed in the mobile app with a corresponding icon and the "Closing status" parameter. Bidirectional communication also enables the parameterization of the control unit as well as the remote addition of transmitters (without physical access to the receiver). Outside of the control unit, the EX-BIDI controller can be operated in parallel with transmitters from the EXALUS HOME and EXTALIFE systems. Multiple transmitters can be registered in the receivers, allowing the shutters to be operated independently from several locations at the same time. The EX-BIDI control unit can only be connected to one TR7 control unit (after which it is no longer visible to other control units). The receiver has an integrated, remote software update function via the EXALA control unit - an internet connection is required for this. Another advantage is the ability to define up to three favorite settings.
