Spray primer & adhesion primer for window sealing tapes
A spray primer serves as an adhesion promoter between a suitable substrate and an adhesive or sealing product to be applied to it. The primer is applied to the intended substrate and prepares the surface for subsequent bonding. Which materials and substrates can be treated with a specific spray primer depends on the specifications of the respective manufacturer.
For self-adhesive mounting and sealing tapes, a suitable substrate is crucial for bonding. An adhesion primer can improve adhesion on designated substrates. However, not just any primer should be used. Primer, adhesive tape and substrate must be compatible with each other.
