Crank gears enable the manual operation of suitable external venetian blinds and slat blinds via a crank handle. They transmit the rotational movement of the crank to the drive mechanism of the blind and must be selected as spare parts to match the respective system.

If an existing external venetian blind gear needs to be replaced, you should first check the manufacturer, model, and existing product designation. In addition, dimensions, gear ratio, drive input, output connection, and installation position can be decisive for the selection. A visually similar crank gear is not automatically compatible with the existing blind system.
