Cutting of guide rails, profiles & long goods
Do you need a guide rail, steel shaft, or profile in a specific length?
For selected long goods, we offer individual cutting according to your specified dimensions. Please note that we cannot make a cut accurate to the millimeter, and a tolerance of +- 2% is given.

What do I need to consider for individual cutting?
Please check the required dimensions carefully before ordering a cut.
Goods cut individually according to customer specifications are processed specifically for your order. Therefore, please inform yourself about the conditions applicable to individually manufactured or cut goods before placing your order.
If you are unsure about the profile, design, or required dimensions, we recommend carefully checking the technical product information before ordering.
Sample shipping for profiles & long goods
Are you unsure whether a glazing bead, guide rail, cover strip, or another profile matches your existing system?
For selected products, we offer a sample shipping service.
Especially with older windows, roller shutters, and sun protection systems, profiles can look very similar in photos, even though the profile cross-section or dimensions differ.
A sample can therefore help to better assess the shape, dimensions, and accuracy of fit before placing a larger order.
Cost for sample shipping: €6.95 incl. VAT.
The costs include shipping, packaging, and handling.
For long goods such as strips, profiles, or guide rails, a short profile piece of about 5 cm in length is usually sent as a sample.

Have transmitters & roller shutter motors programmed
Are you buying a compatible roller shutter motor from us together with a suitable transmitter?
For selected motor and transmitter combinations, we offer additional programming before shipping.
Compatible hand transmitters, wall transmitters, or the corresponding remote control and the motor purchased from us are connected or programmed before delivery.
This means you receive the motor and transmitter already coordinated with each other.
Important: The programming of the transmitter and motor does not replace the setting of the roller shutter motor's end positions. The end positions must be set during installation according to the motor, roller shutter, and installation situation.
Whether this service is available for your desired motor and transmitter combination depends on the respective system.
Personal order by phone or email
Our online shop is designed for direct and fast ordering.
If you prefer to place your order not via our online system, but individually by phone or email, we will gladly take over the manual order entry for you.
For the manual processing of an order, we charge a:
Service fee of €10.00 incl. VAT per order.
This flat rate applies to orders that are processed manually outside our regular online ordering system.
Help with the selection of spare parts
Especially with older roller shutters, windows, Venetian blinds, and awnings, the exact designation of a required spare part is often no longer known.
To find a suitable spare part, you should have as much information as possible about the existing component.
Particularly helpful are:

The more precise the available information, the better the search for a suitable spare part can be narrowed down.
Why accurate measurement is important for profiles
For glazing beads, guide rails, weather bars, hollow chamber strips, and other profiles, the front view is often not sufficient.
Two profiles can look almost identical and yet have different dimensions or cross-sections.
We therefore recommend measuring existing profiles as precisely as possible and in particular comparing the profile cross-section with the offered product.
If sample shipping is offered for the desired item, a sample can be an additional way to compare the profile before placing a larger order.
Unregistered or unassignable returns
Please use the return process provided by Fenstergigant for returns.
Unregistered or improperly assignable returns can cause additional processing effort. For returns where an additional processing fee may be charged according to our applicable conditions, a processing fee of €14.95 incl. VAT per shipment may apply.
For unclaimed goods, storage costs may arise from the 14th calendar day after receipt in the returns warehouse, subject to the applicable conditions.
