You are legally obligated to return used batteries as an end user. You can return used batteries, which we carry or have carried as new batteries in our range, free of charge to our shipping warehouse (shipping address). Please note that the shipping costs will not be reimbursed by us. Otherwise, we will take back the batteries free of charge. Batteries requiring labeling must be marked with one of the two symbols shown below, consisting of a crossed-out trash can and the chemical symbol of the heavy metal that is decisive for the classification as containing harmful substances. The chemical symbols have the following meaning:
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 percent lead by mass
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass.
