2.2 This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g., orders or inquiries to the controller). You can recognize an encrypted connection by the string "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser line.

4) Cookies

To make visiting our website attractive and enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, which are small text files stored on your device. You have the option to contact us via the WhatsApp messaging service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. For this purpose, we use the so-called "Business version" of WhatsApp.

If you contact us via WhatsApp regarding a specific transaction (e.g., a placed order), we store and use your mobile phone number used on WhatsApp and – if provided – your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b. GDPR to process and respond to your request. Based on the same legal basis, we may ask you via WhatsApp to provide further data (order number, customer number, address, or email address) in order to assign your inquiry to a specific process.

If you use our WhatsApp contact for general inquiries (e.g., regarding the range of services, availability, or our website), we store and use your mobile phone number used on WhatsApp and – if provided – your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the efficient and timely provision of the requested information.

Your data will always be used exclusively to respond to your request via WhatsApp. No disclosure to third parties takes place.

Please note that WhatsApp Business gains access to the address book of the mobile device we use for this purpose and automatically transfers phone numbers stored in the address book to a server of the parent company Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. For the operation of our WhatsApp Business account, we use a mobile device whose address book only stores the WhatsApp contact details of users who have contacted us via WhatsApp.

This ensures that every person whose WhatsApp contact details are stored in our address book has already consented to the transmission of their WhatsApp phone number from the address books of their chat contacts in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR when they first used the app on their device by accepting the WhatsApp Terms of Service. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which protects the data of our site visitors and prohibits disclosure to third parties.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

5.3 When contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data will be processed – solely for the purpose of processing and answering your request and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.

The legal basis for the processing of this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact aims at concluding a contract, an additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. 8.4 Use of payment service providers

- Apple Pay

If you choose the "Apple Pay" payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment processing takes place via the "Apple Pay" function of your iOS, watchOS or macOS device by debiting a payment card stored in "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features integrated into your device's hardware and software to protect your transactions. To authorize a payment, you must therefore enter a code you have previously set and verify it using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your device.

For the purpose of payment processing, your information provided during the ordering process, along with information about your order, will be transmitted to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then re-encrypts this data with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay for payment execution. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm the successful payment.

Insofar as personal data is processed during the transmissions described, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Apple retains anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymization completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.

If you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase made via Safari on your Mac, the Mac and the authorization device communicate over an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can identify you personally. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and disable "Allow Payments on Mac."

Further information on data protection at Apple Pay can be found at the following internet address: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027

To authorize a payment via Google Pay exceeding €25, you must first unlock your mobile device using the verification method you have set up (e.g., facial recognition, password, fingerprint, or pattern).

For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the order process, along with information about your order, will be transmitted to Google. Google will then send your payment information stored in Google Pay in the form of a one-time transaction number to the originating website, which will use it to verify the payment. This transaction number does not contain any information about the actual payment data of your payment methods stored in Google Pay; instead, it is created and transmitted as a unique numerical token. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts solely as an intermediary for processing the payment. The transaction itself is carried out exclusively between the user and the originating website by debiting the payment method stored in Google Pay.

If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Google reserves the right to collect, store, and evaluate certain process-specific information for every transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time, and amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description of the purchased goods or services provided by the merchant, photos you have attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction, and, if applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.

According to Google, this processing takes place exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in proper accounting, verification of transaction data, and the optimization and maintenance of the Google Pay service.

Google also reserves the right to combine the processed transaction data with other information collected and stored by Google when using other Google services.

10) Retargeting/Remarketing and Conversion Tracking

10.1 Meta Pixel with Advanced Matching

Within our online offering, we use the "Meta Pixel" service from the following provider in advanced matching mode: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta")

If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook or Instagram, the URL of our linked page is extended by a parameter using "Meta Pixel". This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after redirection by a cookie that our linked page itself sets. In addition, this cookie collects specific customer data such as the email address, which we collect on our website linked to the Facebook or Instagram advertisement during processes such as purchases, account logins, or registrations (advanced matching). The cookie is then read and enables the transmission of data, including specific customer data, to Meta.

We use "Meta Pixel" with advanced matching to make our advertisements (so-called "Ads") on Facebook and/or Instagram more effective and to ensure that they correspond to the interests of the users or show certain characteristics (e.g., interests in certain topics or products, which are determined based on the visited websites), which we transmit to Meta (so-called "Custom Audiences").

Furthermore, we analyze the effectiveness of our advertisements by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advertisement (conversion). Compared to the standard version of "Meta Pixel," the advanced matching function helps us to better measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns by capturing more attributed conversions.

All transmitted data is stored and processed by Meta, so that an assignment to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's data usage policies (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data may enable Meta and its partners to display advertisements on and off Facebook.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading out information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

The information generated by Meta is usually transmitted to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, a transfer to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA may also occur.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

10.2 Google Ads Remarketing

Further data processing only takes place if you have agreed to Google linking your internet and app browsing history with your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize ads that you view on the web. In this case, if you are logged into Google during your visit to our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data to form audiences. In the context of using Google Ads remarketing, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading out information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. These cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device. This way, you will see advertisements that are highly likely to match your product and information interests.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. 10.5 Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, within Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

We use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords). In relation to the data from advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful individual advertising measures are. Our aim is to show you advertising that is of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you, and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.

The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across Google Ads customers' websites. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can personally identify users.

Details on the processing initiated by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and on how Google handles data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

You can also permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads Conversion Tracking by downloading and installing the browser plug-in from Google available at the following link:
https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155656?hl=de

To address users whose data we have received in the context of business or business-like relationships with even more relevant advertising, we use a customer matching function within Google Ads. For this purpose, we electronically transmit one or more files with aggregated customer data (primarily email addresses and phone numbers) to Google. Google does not receive access to clear data but automatically encrypts the information in the customer files during the transmission process using a special algorithm. The encrypted information can then only be used by Google to match it with existing Google accounts that the data subjects have set up. This enables the display of personalized advertising across all Google services linked to the respective Google account.

The transmission of customer data to Google only takes place if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. 10.6 Google Ads Conversion Tracking without cookies

This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, within Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

Instead, your browser's local storage is used to store an individual ID assigned by Google, which enables an analysis of your website usage. For this purpose, certain user information is processed via the ID.

The ID is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. If the user visits certain pages on this website, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. 10.7 Google Ads Conversion Tracking

In relation to the data from advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are.

When using Google Ads, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

10.8 Google Marketing Platform

This website uses the online marketing tool Google Marketing Platform from the operator Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("GMP").

GMP uses cookies to deliver relevant ads to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed multiple times. In addition, GMP can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that relate to ad requests. This is the case, for example, if a user sees a GMP ad and later visits the advertiser's website using the same browser and buys something via this website. According to Google, GMP cookies do not contain any personal information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server.

We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you to the best of our knowledge as follows: By integrating GMP, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will ascertain and store your IP address. When using GMP, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.
